Summary:
New date for the processing of CSDR penalties is 13 April 2022.

Following the request of the Association of Financial Markets of Europe (AFME), ECSDA CSDs in consultation with ESMA and the national competent authorities have recently decided to uniformly postpone the settlement of penalties for the month of February. The decision affects all the markets covered by the CSDR.
The CSDs have agreed to proceed with the collection and distribution of cash penalties for February 2022 on 13 April 2022, in line with AFME's proposal.
Impact on investors: Clients should take note that fines imposed by the CSDs (if any) will not be booked in their accounts in March 2022.
