Holiday reminder

Upcoming holidays in Austria and CEE Region in May 2020.
Mon, 27/04/2020

1st May – Labour Day: Public holiday in Austria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. Non-trading, non-settlement day. Banks, CSDs, Stock Exchanges and local payment systems are closed.

In Slovakia CSD will be open for FOP electronic orders only.

In Slovenia CSD will be open with limited working hours (only FOP settlement is possible if instructed STP).

Croatia – On 30th April – Bank will be open with shorter working hours due to holiday on 1st May.

 

1-5 May – Labour holiday in Russia: On May 4, 2020 and May 5, 2020 local payment systems, AO UniCredit Bank will be closed for business, while these will be regular working days for CSD and MOEX. All details and limitations can be found on their web sites.

On April 30, 2020 AO UniCredit Bank will provide general client services from 09:00 until 16:45 (Moscow time). The applicable securities settlement deadline will be 16:30 (Moscow time). Deadline for RUB funding is 15:00 (Moscow time).


6th May – St George’s Day in Bulgaria: Non-trading, non-settlement day. Banks, CSDs, Stock Exchanges and local payment systems are closed.


8th May – Liberation Day in Czech Republic and Slovakia: In Czech Republic it is a non-trading, non-settlement day. Banks, CSDs, Stock Exchanges and local payment systems are closed.

In Slovakia Banks and Stock Exchange will be closed. Payment system will be open. CSD will be open for electronic orders only.


9-11 May – Victory Day in Russia: Non-trading, non-settlement day. Banks, CSD, Stock Exchanges and local payment systems are closed.

On May 8, 2020 AO UniCredit Bank will provide general client services from 09:00 until 15:30 (Moscow time). The applicable securities settlement deadline will be 16:30 (Moscow time). Deadline for RUB funding is 15:00 (Moscow time).


21st May – Ascension Day in Austria: Banks will be closed while CSD will be open. UniCredit will support settlements.


25th May – Eid-al-Fitr/Ramadan in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Federation of BiH holiday only. Neither trading on SASE  nor settlement in FBiH  will take place.  This is a normal working day for the market in Republic of Srpska. Stock Exchange, CSD and local payment system will be closed while banks will be open.


25th May – Public holiday in Bulgaria: Non-trading, non-settlement day. Banks, CSD, Stock Exchanges and local payment systems are closed.
