Upcoming holidays in Austria and CEE Region in January 2021.

Please be advised on the below public holidays in Austria and the CEE region:

 

1 January New Year’s Day – Public holiday in ALL countries – Non-trading, non-settlement day. Banks, Stock Exchange, CSD and local payment system will be closed.

Austria:
6 January – Epiphany: Stock Exchange, CSD and local payment system will be open, while banks will be closed. Settlement on this days will be supported by UniCredit Bank Austria.

Bosnia:
6– 7 January – Orthodox Christmas: BLSE, CSD and banks will be closed, while local payment system will be open in RS. Normal working day in FBiH.

Croatia:
6 January – Epiphany: Non-trading, non-settlement day. Banks, Stock Exchange, CSD and local payment system will be closed.

Russia:
4, 5, 6, 8 January – New Year’s Holiday: CSD and MOEX will be open with limitations set by CBR.  AO UniCredit Bank will be closed during New Year & Christmas holidays and will resume its activities on 11 January 2021.
7 January – Orthodox Christmas: Non-trading, non-settlement day. Banks, Stock Exchange and CSD will be closed.

Serbia:
7 January – Orthodox Christmas: Non-trading, non-settlement day. Banks, Stock Exchange, CSD and local payment system will be closed. On 6 January, UniCredit Bank Serbia will be open with limited working hours due to the Orthodox Christmas Eve.
8 January – Trading platform security upgrade. Non-working day for the BELEX. Banks, CSD and local payment system will be open.

Slovak Republic:
6 January – Epiphany: Banks and Stock Exchange will be closed, while CSD is restricted to settlement of instructions in settlement system and electronic submission of requests to Information System.
