Holiday reminder May 2019

Please be advised on the below Public holidays in Austria and the CEE region

1^st May: Labour day – Public holiday in Austria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. Non-trading, non-settlement day. Banks, CSDs, Stock Exchanges and local payment systems are closed. In Austria and Slovakia only FOP settlement is possible if instructed STP.

2^nd May: Labour holiday - Non-trading, non-settlement day. Banks, CSDs, Stock Exchanges and local payment systems are closed in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia and Slovenia. In Russia banks are closed. CSD, MOEX and local payment system are open with limited working hours. 

3^rd May: Labour holiday - Banks are closed in Russia. CSD, MOEX and local payment system are open with limited working hours. In FbiH, SASE is closed, Banks, CSD and local payment system are open. 

6^th May: St. George’s day – Public holiday in Bulgaria. Non-trading, non-settlement day. Banks, CSD, Stock Exchange and local payment system are closed.  

8^th May: Victory day – Public holiday in Czech Republic. Non-trading, non-settlement day. Banks, CSD, Stock Exchange and local payment system are closed. Public holiday in Slovakia as well. Non-trading, non-settlement day. Banks and Stock Exchange are closed, CSD and local payment system are opened.

9^th May: Victory day – In Russia banks are closed. Non-trading, non-settlement day. CSD, Stock Exchange and local payment system are closed. Public holiday in RS. BLSE closed, no settlement in RS, normal working day in FbiH.  

10^th May: Victory day – In Russia banks are closed. CSD, MOEX and local payment system are open with limited working hours.   

Additionally the following apply to Bulgaria and Austria:

24^th May: Cyrillic Alphabet and Slavic Culture Day - Public holiday in Bulgaria. Non-trading, non-settlement day. Banks, CSD, Stock Exchange and local payment system are closed.  

30^th May: Ascension day – Public holiday in Austria. UniCredit Bank Austria will be open with limited working hours. CSD, VSE and local payment system will be open.
