A warm welcome to this year's last edition of the GSS Newsletter, which I am excited to be opening for the first time since joining GTB.
Now is the time of the year when we look back to critically analyse what we have achieved during the last twelve months. For GSS the year was very dynamic, which we built upon to ensure that we are one step further in better understanding the needs of our clients and to meeting their expectations with uncompromised service delivery. The set-up of our new Central Team has been completed and its members are already working hard together to meet our promise that you receive nothing less than stellar service quality.
Looking ahead, we are entering the last third of our Transform 2019 marathon, and although being clearly ahead of our goals, we will not hesitate to put forth any and all efforts towards confirming the position of UniCredit as your partner of choice in our core markets. Our investment programme will continue in 2019, but at the same time we are already looking beyond so as to make sure that we are best positioned to support the growth aspirations of our clients - through new system functionalities, new services models and deeper integration with our markets. To that end, a primary focus for us will remain the development of our people.
We hope to have even more frequent interaction with you in the coming year, as the proximity to our clients is of utmost importance to us. The GSS client roadshow in London, the Network Forum in Athens and SIBOS in London are among the opportunities we are looking forward to.
In the meantime, please accept the best wishes of our entire team to you and to your families for a happy holiday season and let 2019 be full of opportunities to do even more business with you in all of our core markets.
