GSS Newsletter December 2019 - Issue 209

DECEMBER 2019 - ISSUE 209

Dear Clients, Partners and Friends,

Let us take a moment before the festive season starts to look back at this past year to appreciate and evaluate our initiatives and achievements that will pave our path for the next year and provide strength to all of us to continue our work with full devotion.

Another exciting year has passed keeping Global Securities Services (GSS) at UniCredit fully engaged, especially in preparation for the new regulatory requirements which will impact the post trade infrastructure across our region in the upcoming months. In addition to industry events such as the Network Forum in Athens and SIBOS in London, the annual GSS UniCredit Roadshow in London provided a great opportunity to discuss and exchange opinions on these future regulatory changes and industry trends. Our book of work in the post trade community has now been set for 2020; we at GSS UniCredit are also getting ready for the changes and challenges as well as the opportunities the new year will bring. UniCredit is investing substantially to upgrade and change its core securities ledger system in 9 markets to ensure that our clients are serviced with state-of-the-art technology going forward.

At this time I would like to wish all our partners, clients and friends a prosperous holiday season with family and friends, whereby everyone can enjoy some time together with their loved ones. We look forward to strengthening our relationship with you all in the new year.
