On 11 August, the Central Bank of Armenia decreased its benchmark interest rate from 10.5% to 10.25% as part of its efforts to preserve the financial stability of Armenia.
The latest increase of the key refinancing rate up to 10.5% was in February 2015 and the preceding raising from 9.5% to 10.5% occurred in January 2015.
