Romania: ASF has announced its priority projects for 2015

The ASF, the supervisory authority for the non-banking financial market in Romania, presented its five priority projects for 2015. They are aimed at developing its capacity to respond to the realities of the regulated markets.

The five priorities are as follows:

-   Consolidation of ASF’s institutional capacity;

-   Obtaining the statute of an emerging capital market;

-   Preparing the insurance market for the new supervisory regime;

-   Stimulating long term savings;

-   Development and implementation of the resolution framework for the entities supervised by ASF
