On 17 September 2020, CSD sent market participants the technical specifications related to the changes brought to the Arena Post-Trading platform in the context of SRDII and CSDR implementation at the CSD level. CSDR stage 2 implementation would include Improvement of some technical processes and SRDII will enter into force starting 21 September 2020.
In this context, market participants were also reminded that starting with 21 September 2020, the post-trade settlement mechanisms for conditioning the settlement, such as “Linkages” and “Hold / Release” will become available.
Impact on investors: Better mechanisms available for settlement processes ensuring higher risk mitigation. Technical changes implemented by the CSD in order to comply with CSDR and SRDII.
