On the meeting held on 27 February the Board of the Central Depository (CSD) approved changes and additions to certain fees and commissions applied by the Central Depository. The main changes and additions are:
- introduction of new fees, respectively the modification of existing fees, for the recovery of costs generated by the new fees charged by the BNR, according to the new system rules of ReGIS,
- introduction of new fees for cross-border operations,
- extending the validity of some reduced fees and commissions related to financial instrument lending operations and highlighting the guarantees,
- completion of some notes issued in the application of fees and commissions, without changing their amount,
- removal of some fees and commissions.
The fees and commissions charged by the Central Depository for the recovery of the costs generated by the new fees charged by the BNR are to be applied from 1 April 2024, the other changes and additions to the fees and commissions will be applied starting as of 1 March 2024.
