Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) amended its Rules and Instructions for Admission and Monitoring of Member Firms and Traders .
The amended Rules and Instructions were published on the web page of Ljubljana Stock Exchange on 27 May 2020 after the approval of Securities Market Agency.
The changes are driven by Market in Financial Instruments Act (ZTFI-1) article 411 (2), on the basis of which the LJSE Rules and Instructions were amended to stipulate that other entities who have appropriate reputation and good name, relevant trading experience and abilities, and meet other special conditions prescribed for the membership by the Stock Exchange Rules, may become members of the Exchange.
Amendments to the Rules and the new Instructions will be effective from11th June 2020, while the changes regarding the admission of other entities who meet the special conditions for membership shall enter into force on 1 January 2021.
