The Central Depository and Clearing Company (SKDD) has started a project aimed at harmonising corporate actions, which has been supported by the European Commission's-Structural Reform Support Service. Thanks to the EC funding worth EUR 500,000, SKDD should fulfil all the prerequisites for adopting and implementing European standards for conducting corporate actions in the next 13 months.

The adoption of European standards in the field of corporate actions will increase transparency and efficiency in providing services to all participants in the capital markets and ensure the international competitiveness of SKDD.

Taking into account the complexity of the project and the need for a thorough and comprehensive analysis of all aspects of the market, the European Commission-Structural Reform Support Service, in the context of the call for tenders, was chosen by the Consulting House Ernst & Young as the head of the project in order to create prerequisites for adopting and implementing European standards.
