On 7 December 2022 Croatia and USA signed a double taxation treaty (DTT) in Washington D.C. Full text of the treaty is yet to be published. Tax rates stipulated in the treaty will be advised after the text of the treaty becomes available. DTT will enter into force once ratified by both countries.
Impact on investors: Eligible tax residents of Croatia and USA will be able to enjoy preferential DTT rates once the agreement enters into force
