Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a form of software automation that allows organizations to automate manual, repetitive tasks that are time-consuming and error-prone. The technology works by "observing" the actions of a human worker and then "copying" those actions to automate the task.  RPA can be used to automate a wide range of tasks, including data entry, document processing, customer service, and more.

Keeping up with modern tech trends, Zagrebačka Bank fully adopted Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology in 2018, and since then, our dedicated IT RPA team has successfully integrated software robots in more than 60 business processes, including data entry, document processing, reports generation, order processing, etc.

In mid-2022 GSS Croatia deployed two robots into depository bank processes, making us a local market leader in the robotization of depository bank business. Our robots are digital employees with their own internal employee IDs and unique access rights to different IT systems and the e-mail system of the Bank. They can understand what's on a screen, read PDFs, enter, copy, paste, and analyze data, manage files and folders, send e-mails, etc.

Robbie III and Robbie VI are highly appreciated members of the GSS Croatia team. Besides their great efficiency and productivity, they are excellent team players, not at all prone to conflict, very tolerant, quiet, and always ready to perform their tasks. They are available 24/7 and ready to substitute for their GSS colleagues when they have to be absent from work. They don’t even ask for a cup of coffee or birthday cards!

Please meet our robots:

 Robbie III: Each working day, at specific predefined time-slot, Robbie III logs into the IT system, generates limit breach report and sends it via e-mail to humans.

Robbie VI: When triggered by humans, Robbie VI logs into the IT system, generates NAV report, makes an analysis, generates reconciliation report and sends it via e-mail to humans.
