Elections for the new, 11th convocation of The Croatian Parliament, will be held on Wednesday, 17 April 2024, as decided by the Croatian President Zoran Milanović on Friday, 15 March 2024. According to the Law on the Election of Representatives to the Croatian National Parliament, the election day is a non-working day in Croatia.

The Zagreb Stock Exchange will be closed for business on the election day.

The settlement system of the Central Depository & Clearing Company Inc. will be operational on the election day for the settlement of OTC trades only. Clients using custody services of Zagrebačka banka d.d. are required to ensure that sufficient cash coverage is available for the settlement of their OTC trades (with settlement date 17 April 2024) on their loro cash accounts in Zagrebačka banka d.d. on Tuesday, 16 April 2024 by the close of business.


Impact on investors: Institutional clients should be aware that 17 April 2024, as an election day, will be a non-working day in Croatia, but settlement of OTC trades in local securities will be possible.
