Summary:
Due to the expected postponement of the Settlement Discipline Regime, the Central Depository in Romania will amend the implementation date of the project.

Based on the European Commission Decision regarding the expected postponement of the implementation term for EU Regulation 1229/2018 until 1 February 2022, the Central Depository announced to its participants that the term for implementation of the last stage of the project related to Settlement Discipline Regime will be amended.
Initial announced go live date for Stage 3 of the CSDR project was 1 February 2021.
The Central Depository will release new dates of implementation for the Settlement Discipline Regime as soon as available.
