The National Bank of Romania informed that ISO 20022 messaging of the SaFIR system – the depository for government bonds - will be available on the production environment starting from July 2024. The coexistence period of ISO 15022/ ISO 20022, without costs for participants, will be ensured for maximum 2 years.
