Please be kindly informed that the recent amendments of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation prescribe abolishment of the ‘closed joint-stock company’ as organizational legal form starting from September 01, 2014. To comply with the new legislation, ZAO UniCredit Bank (hereinafter Bank) will change its legal form and company name as follows:
The full company name in English: Joint Stock Company UniCredit Bank
The short company name in English: AO UniCredit Bank
The Bank is classified as a non-public joint-stock company, which is not authorized to place its shares for public subscription. On October 30, 2014 the amendments № 1 to the Statutes of the Bank, including the change of full and short company name in Russian and in English, as indicated above, were submitted for the state registration to the Bank of Russia.
Impact on investors: No actions are required from investors.
