In line with the announcement on its website, Central Depository & Clearing Company Inc. (SKDD) confirmed to have submitted the amended application for CSD authorization to local regulator HANFA on 1 July 2019.
As prescribed by the Article 17 of CSDR, the procedure of granting the CSD authorization is divided into two phases. During the first phase, HANFA has 30 days from the receipt of amended application to evaluate the completeness of SKDD’s request. In second phase, HANFA will decide on granting the authorization within 6 months from the submission of complete application.
Impact on investors: SKDD submitted the amended application to obtain CSD licence from HANFA.
