JUNE 2021 - ISSUE 2015

Dear clients,

It goes without saying that technology has been playing an invaluable role in keeping us all connected, even despite the odds we have faced. However, perhaps even more importantly, the people operating these technologies, the people being connected by them and the people collaborating through and beyond these solutions, are those who are continuing to push us all forward.

It was precisely these technologies and the personal connections behind them that underpinned our UniCredit Global Securities Services Annual Virtual Roadshow, which took place mid-May. This event, a flagship amongst industry standards, may have been held virtually for the second time in a row, yet its quality as the gathering spot for the securities industry in Central Eastern Europe was left intact. I am proud that we were able to once again demonstrate service excellence in all areas of our business, and it’s this insistence on quality which has once again been recognized by Global Finance, with the magazine naming UniCredit Global Securities Services as CEE’s Best Sub-Custodian Bank for the 12th year in a row.

Finally, I would also like to thank you, our valued partners, for your continued trust and loyalty because together, we forge banking that matters. I wish all of you a relaxing and healthy Summer ahead.

Sven Trahan, Deputy Global Head of Securities Services
