Dear Clients, Partners and Friends,
Having just started recovering from the last two years full of extraordinary circumstances caused by the pandemic, the past weeks have reminded us anew that safety, stability and predictability are not to be taken for granted. Getting through the pandemic required all of our business acumen, tremendous mental strength and a realistic, while optimistic, outlook on the situation.
While bearing in mind the complex times we are living in from a business perspective, I am glad to announce that, with the go-live of our new custody system, BaNCS in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, UniCredit is successfully establishing a new era for Global Securities Services and is further strenghtening its service capabilities. In addition, UniCredit continues to work on the final stages of the implementation of the CSDR by smoothly adapting and advocating client interests.
Finally, I would like to wish our clients a peaceful, healthy and hopefully brighter Spring.
